Laughter
“It'll keep you alive for another 10 years if you get yourself a laugh once a day: either provoke it, or look around in the wildest laboratory in the world, the public.”
― Jerry Lewis
Well 4 years have come and gone since my diagnosis. While following my blog I am sure you know and aware of the crazy journey it has been. Though crazy as it maybe Teresa and I are looking forward to some more roller coaster years ahead of us. So far all the odds have been beaten - surviving this long being one of them. Cancer truly has not realized who he is messing with. I will do my best to stay strong, keep positive and fight the fight.

The challenge right now is dealing with a side effect which attacks the fingers and toes. Fingers and toes become really sensitive to cold where they start to tingle pins and needles. Not the most optimal time to cope with this side effect, but I get by. I sure dont have to go out in the cold as much as I used to. For things like shoveling the driveway, pumping gas, getting things out of the basement freezer. See positive to every negative.
That is it for now. Chat again soon. I think I am over the writers block and blahs, back to writing which helps me get through the days
Keep on smilin through the day - no matter how cold and snowy.

PS: Smiley's Sidekicks is going to be entered as a team this year in Kitchener's Cancer Society Relay for life.
