Diagnosis Anniversary

Good Day

Fishing Prayer:  (not much else to be said on this one)
Now I lay me down to sleep,
A box of tackle at my feet...
My rod and reel perched by the door,
My hip waders on the floor,

My trophy hung above my head...
My minnow bucket beside the bed,
My raincoat on the bedpost,
And visions of catching the most.

If I should die before I wake,
I pray, dear Lord, it's some mistake...
For I just know that the next day,
I'll catch the one that got away.

Wow what a couple of weeks.  Just start on the rebound from treatment and get kicked in the butt by a cold.  That put me out of commission for a few days.  The doctor did prescribe some Amoxicilin to aide in getting better and help prevent the cold from turning into pneumonia which would lead to a hospital check in.  So thankfully I have just weathered the storm and very slowly getting better.  Tomorrow I may or may not have treatment depends on my blood tests to be sure all is OK to proceed.  Fingers crossed.
We dd meet with the oncologist the other week to review the situation.  In summary - we will stay with the current course of action as long as progress is being made.  To determine progress being made a CT Scan has been scheduled for Feb 7th.  This will be the scan I was hoping to have before Christmas.

So with this upcoming scan there should be enough positives and stars aligned that some good news will be heading our way.  Good news would make a great birthday prezzie to me :).  Or perhaps because Feb 7th last year I was going in for a CT Scan and diagnosed that this years will be generating good news.  And then of course there is the 3 bad things happening rule.  3 down between Dec and Jan - so only good news left.  The results from the test will also be reviewed on Valentines Day - so Karma has lots to work with.

Well that is all for now.  Keimo says ARRFF ARRFF to eveyone and would like to advise he does not like the freezing cold either.  No walks on the cold days he protests.

Keep smilin all.
