Event night = a success and a haircut!

Good Day

Spring is here and with the lakes ice melted away, the fishing season's shall start. Here is an old fishing tale from days past.

Chris, Rich, and I were out fishing. Suddenly Rich caught a huge fish that pulled him off the boat and into the water. Chris without hesitation dove off the boat and came up a few minutes later with Rich. I started mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and commented, "I don't remember Rich having such bad breath!" Chris looked at Rich and said, "I don't remember Rich wearing a snowmobile suit, either!"

Treatment update:
Another treatment down.  The days following seem to be kicking my butt alittle more then in the past.  Now that the Nausea is fixed, fatigue has moved in, in full force.  I don't really mind the couple of days of straight rest as I know it is part of the process. Next treatment on the 16th - oncology review on the 15th.  Hoping we will be able to request the next test.

Relay for Life:   May 4th Dare to Join the fight Event Night.
Thank you everyone for your support.  We received donations from across the continent and had a great many family and friends attend, all which helped make this event a success. Although I was not in attendance, I heard everyone had a great time and for that I am grateful. I would like to add an extra thank you to members of  the J-Team for their contribution while putting this event together. Whether that was helping organize, selling tickets, gathering prizes, running the door or just simply talking to people about the upcoming event - all combined lead to a successful night.. A special thank you goes out to Andrew from Satori Hair Studio for donating his time and raffle prize, along with the DJ's for their generosity.
You may be wondering about the dares - which is the main event.  John's supporters were real troopers and pitched in to be sure he met his goal of $2500 in donations.  Yes those famous locks of hair which fashioned Teresa's dad's melon all these years were fated to be chopped.    The first cut was auctioned off to raise additional funds and then the snipping began. .  Here are a couple of pics to start followed by a video of this historic event.   For those who missed the opportunity to support John and his sacrifice, you can still send donations.  Donate here.  Thank you John and Cathy for all your support and tremendous contributions.

Before the trim.
Let the cutting begin!
