Back to Waiting

Good Day

Here is a good one which is right up my ally.  Thank you AV for the help.

So we met with the Surgeon today and positive progress has been made.  He has been following my case over the past year and is very happy with the treatment results.  With the CT results he has looked at it is hard to determine what the state of the Cancer is and what the options are.  Further testing is required to fully understand where we are at and where we are going.  So they are scheduling a MIR, PET Scan and a scope.  The MIR would be for the liver and ensure the spot on the liver is actually Cancerous - confirmation before major surgery is always good.  The PET scan is going to identify where the Cancer is in the body.  And the scope will give the surgeon a physical view of the main site and see if there are any other problems. Next week should have an idea of when all this is going to happen.  So waiting patiently we will be.  That is if you consider sleepless nights, nail biting, leg twitching and pacing waiting patiently.  Tuesday - hurry up please.  Going to be keeping busy over the next few days.  A great reason for plenty of naps  :).

In the end no real answers, though as you can see positive forward motion leading to the answers we seek.

That is all I have to say today, as I am a little disappointed on waiting longer. But very comfortable with being as thorough as the doctors are to lay out ALL the options.   To quote the doctor - "we dont want to go in if there is no need to".

Still smiling and keeping a renewed hope.

Jtee
